Peter Smith

Peter Smith is an investment governance lead at Aviva, bringing 13 years of experience in the UK financial services industry. They began their career at Zurich Insurance, where they held roles as a Platform Adoption Consultant and a Graduate Trainee. At Aviva, Peter progressed from a Proposition Manager to an Underwriting Manager on secondment, and currently serves as the Aviva Master Trust Governance Manager and Investment Committee Lead. Prior to joining Aviva, they worked as a Senior Consultant at EY, focusing on financial services performance improvement. Peter earned a BA (Hons) in Politics & History and a MA in British History from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
