Wei Zhang

Wei Zhang started their work experience as a Software Engineer at Quickware (now Arcsoft) in 1997. Wei then worked as an NMS Software Engineer at WorldPCS Inc from 1998 to 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they served as a Senior Staff Member at Utstarcom Inc. Wei joined Cebatech Inc in 2006 as a Senior Compiler Developer and remained there until 2011. Wei then became the Director at Altior Inc from 2011 to 2014. Currently, they are a Co-founder and VP at Avlino Inc, where they lead the Hadoop development team and has released several version updates for their Hadoop accelerating software.

Wei Zhang obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from Zhejiang University, where they specialized in the field of study known as The State Key Lab Of Semiconductor Material. Wei pursued this degree from 1994 to 1997.
