Jack Dever

Jack Dever has over 35 years of work experience in various roles and companies. Jack started their career in 1985 as a Research Engineer at Union Carbide, where they worked on the development of ethylene oxide catalyst and process development. Jack later became a Production Leader and managed an ethylene oxide-glycol plant in Alberta, Canada. At Dow Chemical, they served as an EOEG Global Improvement Leader and then as a Program Director for Acrylic Acid. Jack also worked at Dow Automotive as a Program Manager. Currently, they are the Chief Technology Officer at AVN Corp., where they have been since 2016. Jack has a strong background in chemical, energy, and environmental technologies, technical engineering, and advanced software technologies.

Jack Dever earned their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University in 1979. Jack then pursued a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering at the same institution from 1979 to 1981. Afterwards, they attended the University of Notre Dame from 1982 to 1985, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. In 2015, Jack completed a Certificate in Executive Leadership from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
