David Johnson

David Johnson is an accomplished financial professional with over 35 years of experience in the industry. Currently serving as the Vice President of Financial Operations at Avnet since July 2001, David oversees Shared Services, including Finance, General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable for North America and the Latin America & Caribbean regions. Prior to Avnet, David was the Controller at Kent Electronics from August 1988 until the company's acquisition by Avnet in 2001, managing all operational accounting activities. David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston, earned between 1983 and 1989.
