Tom Tranter

Tom Tranter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and business development. After earning a BSEE degree in Engineering from the University of Delaware from 1979 to 1983, Tom Tranter began a career that spans several decades. Starting as an engineer at AmTote Systems from 1982 to 1986, Tranter progressed to roles such as Sales Engineer at Beacon North (1986-1994) and Field Applications Engineer at Marshall Industries (1994-1999). From November 1999 until July 2005, Tranter served as a Senior Field Applications Engineer at Memec, which was acquired by Avnet in 2005. At Avnet, Tom Tranter held the positions of Senior Field Applications Engineer and Business Development Manager from July 2005 until retirement in August 2023.
