Avoca Ireland
For Avoca, it all began in our little weaving mill in Avoca Village, Co. Wicklow, back in 1723. Deriving from the old Irish word abhoca meaning ‘little treasure’, we’ve been weaving here since 1723 and are proud to say there are third generation weavers still working here today. Colour and craft are still at the heart of what we do, and we are very proud of our history and heritage. Today, we have 14 locations across the country, boasting unique and interesting retail stores, award-winning cafés, fabulous food markets, breathtaking gardens, nurseries, and lots more. From our bustling city centre stores in Dublin and Belfast, to our locations in stunning gardens in Malahide and Powerscourt, there is so much to explore at Avoca. You can find lots more information on all our locations and history at www.avoca.com, and on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest & Twitter.
