Chen Li

Chen Li, Ph.D., currently serves as a Staff AI Scientist at Avodah, Inc.™, focusing on foundational AI research in Bio/Med and machine translation with an emphasis on deep reinforcement learning and generative model inference. Previously, Chen held the position of Principal AI Engineer at Verantos, contributing to AI/ML foundations for advanced biomedical technology and clinical study designs, specializing in deep neural networks and reinforcement learning. Experience also includes a role as Director of Research AI/ML at Moody's Analytics, where extensive research encompassed statistical machine learning, natural language processing, and various optimization techniques. In addition, significant work was done at truePTS developing AI systems for trading activities and at trueEX Group LLC in production and Dev-Ops engineering. Chen's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence/Natural Language Processing, multiple master's degrees, and a bachelor's degree in Evolutionary Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
