Ekaterina Herzig

Ekaterina Herzig serves as the Executive Vice President Retail Duty Free North America at Avolta since June 2023, while also being a Global Advisory Board Member at Virtual Advisory Board since October 2022. Previously, Ekaterina held the position of Corporate Officer and Vice President of Strategy & Alignment for International Markets at McDonald’s from September 2020 to September 2022, where strategic planning and project oversight were key responsibilities. A longstanding career in retail leadership includes serving as CEO of Dufry Group's Swiss operations and holding various senior positions at The Nuance Group AG and A.S. Watson Group. Ekaterina holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, alongside advanced studies in board governance and leadership.
