Mark Thomassen

Mark Thomassen has extensive experience in financial shared services and management roles. Mark currently serves as the Director of Global Financial Shared Services at Avolta. Prior to this, they worked for Dufry Group as the Head of Financial Shared Service Centre Europe from 2016 to 2022. Mark also held various positions at The Nuance Group, including Head of Financial Shared Service Centre Europe from 2013 to 2015 and Head of Financial Shared Service Centre Europe (Zurich) from 2010 to 2013. Before joining The Nuance Group, Mark was the Head of FSSC Europe at ACCO Brands from 2006 to 2010. Mark also has experience as a Manager Financial Control at Rockwool International A/S from 2005 to 2006, European Controller at Rosenbluth International from 2000 to 2005, and Accounting Manager at NAVTEQ from 1996 to 2000.

Mark Thomassen attended Markus Verbeek from 1997 to 2004 and earned a degree in Finance (SPD). Prior to that, they studied at economisch lyceum eindhoven from 1984 to 1989, where they obtained a degree in Meao. Additionally, from 1984 to 1987, Mark attended Economisch Lyceum Eindhoven and completed a degree in Meao BA with a specialization in Finance.
