Bob Emery

Bob Emery has a long and varied work experience. Bob began their career in 1995 as a Marketing Representative for the Ohio Student Aid Commission, where they established and maintained relationships with the post-secondary education community to implement OSAC's automated loan processing software. In 1996, they became a Sales Representative for Scioto Valley Supply / Industrial and Commercial Building Supplies, where they established a client base of over 150 repeat customers and became proficient in the knowledge of over 2000 products. In 1998, they took on the role of Senior Account Executive at Sterling Commerce, where they were responsible for all B2B sales of On-Premise and As-A-Service solutions. In 2010, they took on the role of Senior Account Representative / Brand Specialist B2B & Commerce Solutions at IBM, where they managed all aspects of the sales cycle for clients with more than 1,000 employees in the Great Lakes and NY Area region. In 2013, they became a Business Development Manager at Metabyte, a leading IT services company. In 2021, Bob Emery began their current role as Regional Sales Director and Director of Southeast & Mid-Atlantic Sales at Avolve Software, where they are empowering government agencies to drive digital transformation and collaboration for economic growth.

Bob Emery attended Hilliard High School and then went on to The Ohio State University where they obtained a BA in Communication and Media Studies.
