Derek Porter

Derek Porter has worked in various roles since 2005. Derek began their career as a Media Planner at MediaCom in 2005. After one year, they moved to Media Experts where they served as a Senior Account Planner until 2008. Derek then joined Payment Source as the Director of Business Development until 2012. In 2012, they became the General Manager of eGovernment at Vision33 and has been in this role until 2021. Currently, they are the Chief Growth Officer and Vice President of Sales at Avolve Software.

Derek Porter's education history includes a degree in Advertising from Seneca College between 2002 and 2004. Derek has also obtained additional certifications in Building Professional Negotiation Skills, Critical Success Factor for Strategic Change, Digital & Social Media Strategy & Tactics, Fundamentals of Project Management, and Influence Without Authority from the Gardiner Centre - Faculty of Business Administration, Memorial University.
