Anna Opasnova

Anna Opasnova has extensive experience in tax management and finance, having held significant positions at major companies. Initial roles included Finance Director and Chief Accountant at Ahlsell AB, followed by Finance Manager at TROX, where responsibilities encompassed tax policy development and financial analysis. From 2006 to 2011, Anna worked at General Motors, first as Tax Compliance Manager and then as Tax Compliance Officer for Russia, overseeing tax compliance and strategic planning for the region. As CIS Tax Manager at Mars, duties included statutory reporting and tax risk management. Since 2014, Anna has served as Senior Tax Manager for Eastern Europe at Avon, focusing on local finance policy formulation and tax compliance across multiple countries. Anna holds a degree in Economics from Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, along with additional certifications in Managerial Accounting and International Accounting Standards.
