Cheryl Smith has served as a Foreign Service Specialist in the Office Management Specialist (OMS) division at the U.S. Department of State since July 2016. In addition to this role, Cheryl has been an Independent Sales Representative for Avon since February 2011. Prior experience includes working as an Administrative Assistant in the Internal Audit Department at Sonoco from March 2007 to July 2016. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Francis Marion University, completed between 1978 and 1981, and graduated from Hartsville High School in 1978.
