Avonglen is a team of strategically minded and commercially astute Finance Directors who work alongside business owners and CEOs across many sectors. By delivering strategic vision and commercial acumen as well as operational support, we can provide the services that you might expect to receive from a top Finance Director. We offer that support on a part-time basis so that ambitious businesses of any size can benefit.

Whether you’re growing, downsizing, restructuring, succession planning, fundraising or selling – or simply need to understand your numbers better - you’ll benefit from professional financial experience and expertise relevant to your business.

Running your own business can be a lonely affair and all business owners need financial direction and support - far more than crunching the numbers and maintaining the accounts.

Our Directors, who are all fully qualified Chartered Accountants, have sat at board level for multiple businesses in a variety of sectors, ranging from £5million turnover scale-ups to companies quoted on the London Stock Exchange. They have lived and breathed most of the ups and downs experienced by ambitious businesses over 125+ years of combined business careers and know what it takes for a business to succeed.

We take an approach to supporting you that starts with understanding your ambition, reviewing your strategic direction and your commercial model. Working with you as part of your team, on or off-site, giving you hands-on advice and practical implementation, for as long as you need us.

We can work in collaboration with your existing accountant or accounts function or we can provide the whole of your accountancy support via our specialist team. We like to think of ourselves as your first lieutenant without the six-figure salary but all the commitment, presence and accessibility you need to achieve success. Whatever your goals and objectives we can help you to get to where you want to be.
