Erick Messer

Erick Messer is an accomplished Art Director currently at Avōq, following the company's establishment in 2024 from the merger of Subject Matter and Kivvit. With a robust background in graphic design, Erick has operated as a freelance designer since 2016, creating branding and advertising solutions for various clients. Prior roles include extensive experience at Subject Matter, where responsibilities ranged from Junior Designer to Art Director, and a Graphic Design Intern position at idfive, focusing on advertising campaigns. Earlier experiences at James Madison University included marketing and design roles for University Recreation and internships at both Duke Hall Gallery and Artworks Gallery, honing skills in organizing and promoting art exhibitions. Erick holds a Bachelor of Fine Art in Graphic Design from James Madison University, complemented by minors in Art History and Studio Art.
