David Lim

David Lim is an experienced professional in impact finance and social innovation, currently serving as the Director of Capital Mobilisation at AVPN since June 2022. In this role, David engages with various capital providers to channel financial and human resources into credible Impact Organizations across Asia, focusing on philanthropic investments in gender equality, climate action, health, and youth empowerment. Previously, David held managerial positions at the Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC), where David oversaw national social enterprise initiatives, and at Me.reka, where David successfully raised RM1.6 million in equity crowdfunding. David's contributions extend to The Biji Initiative, where a sustainable governance framework was developed, and to Shakespeare Demystified, with performances aimed at promoting the appreciation of English language and theatre. David holds a degree in Impact Finance Innovation from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of London.
