Kevin Teo has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Kevin worked as the Chief Operating Officer at the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network, where they oversaw the Markets and Digital Transformation teams and focused on driving greater social and environmental impact through capital deployment. Kevin also co-founded Anisya, an online employment marketplace in Singapore that connects foreign domestic workers with employers. Additionally, they co-founded the Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network (SEALNet), a non-profit organization that trained and mentored students on service and leadership skills. Kevin has also held roles such as Evaluation Panel Member at the Ministry of Social and Family Development, Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at NUS Business School, Founding partner and Director at Volans Ltd, Head of East and Southeast Asia at the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, and Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum. Kevin has also worked at Clearwell Systems and Sun Microsystems in technical and business roles.
Kevin Teo completed their A Levels in Engineering at Raffles Institution from 1990 to 1991. Kevin then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computing at Imperial College London from 1994 to 1997. Kevin went on to earn a Master's degree in Gerontology from Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) between the years 2016 and 2018. In 1997 to 1998, they also obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University.
