Komal Sahu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Mentor and Investor at iAxil Pte Ltd, a venture accelerator and consulting firm. They also served as a Mentor and Investor at Focus Tech Pte Ltd, an early stage investment firm, where they developed investment processes and supported partners and entrepreneurs. In 2013, Sahu became an Investor at SmartRx Ltd/Medcall, a company focused on providing business applications for SMEs. They also held the position of Investor & Board Advisor at Collaboration Platform Services from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, Sahu was an Investor at Anymap, Bakipa, and Cyrcadia Health, and a Limited Partner at Pioneer Fund. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Chief of Sustainable Finance at AVPN.

Komal Sahu obtained a BA Hons degree in Economics from the University of Delhi (SRCC) from 1986 to 1989. In 1990, they pursued a Fellow of Institute of Certified Accountants (FCCA) degree in Accounting and Finance, which they completed in 1993. The following year, from 1994 to 1995, they obtained an Associate of the Institute of Taxation degree in Tax Law/Taxation, becoming a Chartered Tax Advisor.

In 2017, Komal Sahu obtained a Post Grad Diploma in Corporate Governance, Boardroom Dynamics, ESG, Audit & Other Committee Roles from FT Post Grad NED diploma. Komal also acquired the NED certification from the Financial Times in the same year.

Currently, Komal Sahu is pursuing a Certificate for Family Office Advisors - Advanced from the Wealth Management Institute (WMI), specializing in Responsible Wealth, Portfolio Management, PE, and Managing Risk. The certification is expected to be completed between 2021 and 2022. Komal also holds additional certifications, including NED from the Financial Times, Chartered Tax Advisor from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), and FCCA from ACCA. Moreover, they have the former HMIT certification from Their Majesty's Inspector of Taxes.
