Koen Evers

Koen Evers is the Director at Avular. Prior to joining Avular, Koen served as the General Manager at Vanderlande from June 2007 to June 2021. In this role, Koen led a multi-disciplinary team in the exploration, development, and deployment of innovative autonomous vehicle, and service based applications, seamlessly integrated into Vanderlande's total delivery of value-added logistic solutions. What started as a corporate startup, focused on fast customer validation and development, has evolved into a company wide expert center for AV based solutions.

Koen has a passion for technology and its potential to transform industries and society. Koen is excited to be leading Avular in its mission to make autonomous vehicles safe, reliable, and accessible to everyone.

Koen Evers has a Master in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, a ThePower MBA from ThePower Business School, and Authentic leadership from TSM Business School. Koen also did an internship at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. Koen Evers has a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and an Atheneum from Katholieke Scholengemeenschap Etten-Leur.
