Gary Prewett

Gary Prewett is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in managing security practices and mitigating risks across various sectors. Currently serving as Practice Manager at Avvale since May 2012, Gary previously held the position of Security Practice Lead at NIMBL, Techedge Group, where responsibilities included addressing system and information security challenges, particularly within the Financial Services, Energy, Retail, Services, Transportation, and Manufacturing sectors. As Chief Security Officer at TransFirst, a top payment card processor, Gary developed significant enhancements to the Information Security and Risk Remediation program. Prior roles include Practice Lead at Comsys, Associate Director of IT at The Broe Group, and Global Technical Services Manager at Sunrise Medical. Gary holds an MS in Computer Information Technology from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University.
