Rick Vanalstine

Rick VanAlstine has extensive work experience in the materials and manufacturing industry. Rick started their career at AVX as a Senior Process Engineer in 1991 and later joined Novacap, where they served as an Engineering Manager from 1997 to 2000. Rick then returned to AVX and held various roles including Engineering Section Manager, Materials Group Manager, and New Product Development & Materials Operations Manager. Currently, Rick is the Director of Ceramic Technology at AVX, where they oversee Materials Operations in Fountain Inn and leads Materials Development for the Ceramics Group. Rick'sresponsibilities include process and product development for core ceramics globally, technical support for operations, and strategic planning for profitability improvement.

From 1985 to 1991, Rick VanAlstine pursued a BS and MS in Ceramic and Materials Engineering at Alfred University.
