Benjamin van der Hilst

Benjamin van der Hilst is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product development, commercial strategy, and technology leadership, currently serving as the Chief Product Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, and Chief Technology Officer at Avy since January 2018. Prior to Avy, Benjamin operated as an owner and freelancer at Bende and held the role of Inclusive Innovator at BoP Innovation Center, where efforts focused on developing inclusive businesses for the economically disadvantaged. Additionally, Benjamin served as a Master Trainer and toolkit developer at the Inclusive Business Accelerator, enhancing support tools for SMEs in developing markets. Early career contributions included freelance work at Capgemini and co-founding the Dutch Energy Club. Benjamin holds a Master’s degree in Science and Innovation Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science & Innovation Management, both from Utrecht University.
