Ylva Wikmark

Ylva Wikmark is a European Patent Attorney with a PhD in Organic Chemistry and Biotechnology. Currently, Ylva practices at AWA, where they have exhibited expertise in protein engineering, enzymology, biocatalysis, organic synthesis, and molecular biology. Previously, they held positions as a Chemist at the Swedish Chemicals Agency, a Product Transfer Scientist at Cepheid AB, and a Visiting Researcher at EPFL, where they developed pharmacologically relevant bicyclic peptides. Ylva also completed extensive academic training at Stockholm University, culminating in a broad knowledge base in chemistry and biotechnology.
