Bill Baumel

Bill Baumel is a Managing Director of Ohio Innovation Fund, a venture capital firm based in Columbus, Ohio. In 2020, they became a Director of Clarametyx Biosciences, a preclinical stage biotechnology company developing targeted, immune-enabling biologic therapies, and ScriptDrop, an integrated prescription management and delivery platform. In 2019, they became a Director of DAtAnchor Inc., a breakthrough technology company in the cybersecurity space. In 2018, they became a Director of eFuse, an Esports and gaming social web and mobile application, and an Investor of Alviere, a company that enables companies to be part of the Fintech Revolution. In 2017, they became a Director of Aware, a company that eliminates barriers to enterprise collaboration, an Investor and Advisor of Immuta, a company that provides Universal Cloud Data Access Control, and a Director of Genetesis, a company that has developed a simple implementable magnetocardiography imaging system. Bill Baumel obtained their BS - Summa cum laude in Honors Accounting & Economics from The Ohio State University between 1986 and 1990. Bill then completed their MBA - High Distinction in Finance, Strategy, and Marketing from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business between 1992 and 1994. In 2020, they obtained a Certificate in Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School Online. Bill also holds a Certified Public Accountant certification.
