Christopher Ellis

Christopher Ellis has extensive experience in the finance industry, starting their career as a graduate at Westpac in 1996. Christopher then worked at ANZ as a Senior Dealer from 1998 to 2006. Following that, they joined RBC Capital Markets as a Senior Dealer until 2007 when they joined Macquarie Group. At Macquarie Group, their role as Division Director and Senior Portfolio Manager involved managing passive hedging portfolios, implementing active currency processes, and founding the Short Term Currency Alpha strategy. In 2018, they joined Rhicon Currency Management as a Portfolio Manager, where they worked until 2023. Currently, they are the Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of Macro Strategies at Aware Super.

Christopher Ellis completed their education in a chronological manner. Christopher first attended Xavier College from 1984 to 1991, completing their VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education). Christopher then pursued a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) degree at La Trobe University from 1992 to 1996. Afterward, they attended the FINSIA - Securities Institute of Australia from 1998 to 2001, obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Finance & Investment.
