Daniel Hunt Caia

Daniel Hunt CFA CAIA has extensive work experience in the investment management industry. Daniel is currently employed at Aware Super as a Portfolio Manager since July 2020. Prior to that, Daniel worked at VicSuper as a Portfolio Manager from June 2018 to July 2020. Before VicSuper, they were an Investment Manager at ESSSuper from October 2015 to June 2018. Daniel started their career at Frontier Advisors as an Analyst from July 2010 to July 2013, and later progressed to the role of Associate Consultant from August 2013 to October 2015.

Daniel Hunt CFA CAIA's education history begins in 2004 when they enrolled at The University of Queensland. Daniel spent six years there, from 2004 to 2010, and earned a B.Com/LLB (Hons) degree with a major in Finance. In 2007, Daniel embarked on an exchange program at The University of Edinburgh, where they focused on the field of Law.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel has obtained several certifications. In September 2014, they became a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) through the CFA Institute. This was followed by the acquisition of an Alternative Investment Analyst Charter (CAIA Charter) from the CAIA Association in November 2020. Most recently, in July 2021, Daniel obtained certification in Advanced RI Analysis from the Principles for Responsible Investment.
