Grant Smith

Grant Smith is a highly experienced leader known for aligning people, strategy, and capital to deliver long-term value. With 28 years at Macquarie Asset Management, Grant recently stepped down as Executive Chair and Senior Managing Director of the Real Assets division in Australia/New Zealand. In previous roles, Grant was instrumental in expanding MIRA's Australian infrastructure investment business from approximately A$3 billion to A$30 billion from 2015 to 2023. Grant also served on various investment committees and boards, contributing significantly to Macquarie's global principal investment portfolio and various asset management funds. Grant holds an MBA from INSEAD and a B.Commerce/B.Laws from the University of New South Wales, and is currently an Investment Committee Member at Aware Super.
