Maria Syed

Maria Syed started their work experience in 2014 as a Technical Support Engineer and Project Coordinator at Knowledge Platform. Maria provided technical and administrative support to various clients and assisted project managers. In 2015, they became a UX Designer and Video Editor at the same company, where they participated in brainstorming sessions, created prototypes, and conducted usability testing.

In 2017, Maria worked as a Team Lead Product Design at Evamp & Saanga, leading user interface and user experience design for ongoing projects with Zain Saudi Arabia and Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC). Maria'sresponsibilities included competitive analysis, user research, creating sitemaps, wireframes, customer journey maps, and design guides.

In 2018, Maria joined Volt Bank as a Product Designer. Maria participated in design reviews, team discussions, and user experience research. Maria also developed sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and personas to validate design solutions.

From 2019, Maria worked at oOh! as a User Experience Lead, and in 2022, they joined Aware Super as a Senior User Experience Designer. The details of their roles at these companies are not provided.

Maria Syed earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, attending from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Beaconhouse School System Abbottabad from 2004 to 2006. Maria also attended Beaconhouse School System-Karachi from 1996 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Maria Syed has obtained certifications in Content Design from Content Design London in June 2022 and in UX Foundations: Storytelling from LinkedIn in October 2021.
