Martin Sheldon

Martin Sheldon has extensive work experience in the field of IT security, architecture, and administration. Martin currently works at Aware Super as a Senior Manager Application Security. Prior to that, they held the position of Lead Security Architect at Bank of Queensland. Sheldon also served as the Lead Cyber Security Architect at ME Bank for four years. Martin gained valuable experience as the Unix, Cloud and Storage Team Manager at Medibank for nine years. Additionally, Sheldon worked as a Senior Consultant at ME Bank, a Solution Architect and System Support Engineer at Sun Microsystems, and a Senior System Administrator at Sensis. Martin started their career at Ericsson, where they held roles as a Technical Lead and a Senior Unix and Database Administrator.

Martin Sheldon completed a Diploma of Management at Swinburne University of Technology in the academic year 2010-2011. Prior to that, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Business Technology at Monash University from 1993 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Martin has obtained several certifications including the DigiCert TLS/SSL Professional from DigiCert, Inc. in January 2020, the SABSA Foundation SCF from The SABSA Institute in December 2019, the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in March 2015, and the Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from itSMF Australia in February 2006.
