Murray Keir

Murray Keir is the Head of Systematic Equity and Global Portfolio Manager at Aware Super, leading a team responsible for managing over $16 billion in both international and domestic equities since April 2019. Prior to this role, Murray Keir spent two decades at Macquarie Group, serving as Division Director and Senior Quantitative Researcher, where significant contributions included research and strategy development for hedge fund strategies across multiple regions, achieving peak AUM of over US$3 billion. Previous positions at Macquarie Group also encompassed roles as Portfolio Manager, Associate Director, and Senior Quantitative Analyst, where Murray Keir managed a global equity hedge fund and supported a major scale-up program. Murray Keir holds a BSc and BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from The University of Queensland, completed between 1993 and 1997.
