Sam Habibeh has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Sam started their career as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan in November 2015. Sam then joined Investec in October 2016, where they held various positions, including Investment Banking Analyst and Associate. At Investec, they worked on mergers and acquisitions deals, with a focus on government privatisations, land registry, property services, and gaming clients. In November 2019, they joined Aware Super as a Senior Associate in Infrastructure and Real Assets. In this role, they were responsible for leading due diligence and execution processes for asset acquisitions. Sam was later promoted to an Associate Portfolio Manager position, where they continued to oversee due diligence processes and managed acquired assets. Sam's experience includes transaction execution support, financial analysis, data analysis, and industry research.
Sam Habibeh completed their high school education at St Pauls Catholic College from 2007 to 2012. Sam then attended UNSW Business School from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with majors in Finance and Business Economics & Strategy, as well as a Bachelor of Economics (BEcon) degree with majors in Economics. In addition, they have also pursued additional certifications in Best Practice Project Finance Modelling, Financial Modelling for Valuation Analysis, and Negotiation Principles from institutions such as Corality Financial Modelling and Clayton Utz.
