Stefan Bryce has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Stefan began their career in 2003 as a Technology Sales Consultant at Noel Leeming Group. Stefan then worked as an Information Technology University Tutor at the University of Otago, where they gained valuable communication skills. In 2004, Stefan joined the New Zealand Army as a Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment - Private, where they learned discipline, teamwork, and military skills.

In 2005, Stefan joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a Network System Analyst, providing network support to local and remote offices. Stefan later became a Computer Forensic Investigator, utilizing their expertise in computer forensics to support investigations. Stefan then moved on to BDO in Australia, first as an Analyst in the Risk Advisory Services division, where they established and developed computer forensics as a service. Stefan later progressed to roles such as Assistant Manager, Manager, and Senior Manager, specializing in technology risk consulting and undertaking various audits and reviews.

In 2015, Stefan returned to PwC Australia as a Manager, focusing on delivering cybersecurity consulting services across different sectors. Stefan increased the revenue of the Cyber consulting team by building internal referrals and managed forensic investigations for a global mining company. Stefan then joined VicSuper in 2017 as an IT Security Manager, leading the delivery of information security services and developing a security strategy. Stefan directed security governance and played a crucial role in the merger with Aware Super.

Stefan is currently working at Aware Super as a Senior Manager in Cyber Security. Their responsibilities include overseeing security operations and managing the migration of VicSuper infrastructure onto Aware Super's security solutions.

Stefan Bryce began their education journey in 1996 at Wellington College, where they completed their secondary education. Stefan then moved on to the University of Otago from 2001 to 2004, earning a First Class Honours Degree in Information Science (BSc). In 2008, Stefan pursued further education in the field of Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism. Stefan obtained a certification as an ISFCE - Certified Computer Examiner (CCE) from the Australian Forensic Services (AFS) and became a Certified Computer Examiner from The International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners - ISFCE.

In addition to their degrees, Stefan has also acquired several certifications to enhance their knowledge and expertise. Stefan obtained a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in December 2022, a Nuix eDiscovery Specialist certification from Nuix in September 2016, a SABSA Foundation SCF certification from The SABSA Institute in January 2016, and a FireEye Systems Engineer (FSE) certification from FireEye, Inc. in October 2015. Furthermore, Stefan holds a Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft, obtained in January 2005.
