Vera Dai (Wei)

Vera (Wei) Dai has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Vera (Wei) started their career as a Senior Analyst at EY in October 2013, where they specialized in analyzing the business and financial statements of clients in various industries such as real estate, retail, and automotive. During their time at EY, Vera wrote analytical and audit reports, discussed critical findings and risks with senior leadership, and led audits for four clients.

In July 2022, Vera joined Aware Super as a Fund Operations Analyst. In this role, they engaged in RG97 fees & costs reporting and effectively communicated with over 100 fund managers across different asset classes, including equity, property, private equity, and infrastructure. Vera also enhanced the annual investment fees reporting process and collaborated with the governance and investment team to analyze extensive fund-related data. Their tenure at Aware Super ended in October 2022.

Vera is set to join Aware Super again as a Responsible Investment Analyst in January 2023. No specific end date has been provided for this role.

Vera (Wei) Dai completed their education in a chronological order. Vera (Wei) earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics from the University of Sydney, studying from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Economics with a focus on International Economics from Xiamen University, attending from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they received a SELF Diploma from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III) during the period of 2011 to 2012.

Vera also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Vera (Wei) completed the Data@ANZ Program (Exploratory Data Analysis and Predictive Analytics) from Forage in August 2021. In June 2021, they accomplished the KPMG Data Analytics Consulting Virtual Internship, also provided by Forage. Furthermore, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I certification from the CFA Institute in July 2016.
