Pete Royle

Pete Royle is a Senior Environment Artist at Awe Interactive, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they worked at Cloud Imperium Games as a Senior Environment Artist and held various lead roles, including Lead Ship Artist and Lead Environment Artist. They also spent a decade at Rebellion as a Senior Artist, and prior to that, they were a Senior Artist at Variable State from 2022 to 2025. Pete's career began in the early 2000s, with roles at Acclaim Games, Inc. and Extreme FX, after earning a BSc (Hons) in Product Design and Development from The University of Salford from 1997 to 2000.
