Krishna Kumar

Krishna Kumar is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering with extensive experience in advanced development and acoustics applications. Currently serving as Senior Scientist and Director of Advanced Development at AWE Technologies LLC, Krishna previously held the role of Manager in the Acoustics application and Reagents development group for Cell Therapy Processing at MilliporeSigma, where significant contributions included T cell isolation and the development of acoustically responsive particles and transducers. Earlier, Krishna worked as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at FloDesign Sonics, Inc., focusing on acoustic technology for cell separation, and as a Manager at Tata Motors Ltd., overseeing the development of amphibious vehicles and the aerodynamics of passenger cars. Career beginnings included work as an Engineer at Bharat Electronics Ltd. Krishna holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University, a Master’s from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor's from G.B. Pant Engineering College.
