Ryan McLean

Ryan Mclean is an experienced technical leader with a robust background in software engineering and application development. At AWeber, Ryan currently serves as Technical Lead, providing hands-on leadership and guiding architectural direction since June 2015. Previously, Ryan was a Principal Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, delivering thought leadership and overseeing the implementation of comprehensive applications. At Vizy, Inc., from March 2012 to May 2015, Ryan was the Principal Backend Developer, enhancing the web application platform for crowd-sourced video production, notably implementing a Solr/Lucene search system. In earlier roles, Ryan contributed as a Senior Web Developer at Poptent, automating operational workflows, and as a Web Developer at XLNTads, focusing on full-stack development. Ryan’s technical foundation includes an internship at GE R&D, where an application for turbine health monitoring was developed. Ryan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from The City University of New York.
