Alexander Morain

Alexander Morain has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2018 as an Academic Tutor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, followed by Undergraduate Researcher roles at the Center for Plasma-Material Interactions and the Micro & Nanotechnology Laboratory, University of Illinois. In 2019, they worked as a Peptide Chemist and Automation Engineer at the Jensen Deep Phenotyping Lab and a Data Science Intern at DePaul University College of Computing and Digital Media. In 2020, they worked as V.P. of Internal Affairs at i-MADE and as a Medicines Innovation Hub Intern at Eli Lilly and Company. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Stokastic (formerly Awesemo), where they are deploying production quality code in multiple languages, serving as a subject matter expert and developer on National Instrument's Battery Test System, creating customizable Test Monitor and Debugging user interfaces, and developing TestStand sequences to automate battery validation tests.

Alexander Morain attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2017 to 2021, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering.
