Matthew Gilbert

Matthew Gilbert has a diverse background in management and human resources, with experience spanning various roles at UPS from 2004 to 2010, including Human Resources Specialist, Business Manager, On Road Supervisor, Planning Dispatch Supervisor, and Capital Division CHSP Supervisor. In addition, Matthew worked as a Buyer at CarMax from January 2007 to June 2008, overseeing cost determination and auction operations. Currently serving as the District Health and Safety Manager at American Wood Fibers, Inc. since October 2025, Matthew is responsible for environmental health and safety management. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Investment Trading from the University of Maryland University College and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and Services from the University of Maryland Global Campus, having previously earned an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Howard Community College.
