Dane Canning

Dane Canning is the VP of Sales & Marketing at AWI - Ability with Innovation. Dane has over 10 years of experience in sales, customer service, and market research.

Dane started their career as a Senior Sales Specialist at Buy and Sell Newspaper in June 2008. Dane was responsible for generating and converting new leads from the existing client database. In May 2010, they left to join 123.ie as a Senior Sales Executive.

At 123.ie, Dane was responsible for creating and closing new leads, up-selling current customers, recording information on spreadsheets, and helping out with other aspects of the business. Dane also provided market feedback, system bug checking, and reviewed new services before they were released. In November 2012, Dane left 123.ie to join AWI - Ability with Innovation as VP of Sales & Marketing.

At AWI - Ability with Innovation, Dane is responsible for managing customer accounts, providing market feedback, researching the market, advising visitors on the daily operations of the business, providing new product ideas, and helping improve services. Dane has successfully increased sales and helped the company grow since joining in 2012.

Dane Canning's educational career began with him earning their APA General Insurance qualification from the Insurance Institute of Ireland. Dane then went on to work in the insurance field for many years.
