Simon Rees is currently the Chief Actuary for the Americas at AXA XL, where they oversee underwriting capital capacity for leading MGAs and insurtechs. With a strong background in actuarial science, Simon previously served as Head of Reinsurance Reserving and Deputy Chief Actuary at AXA XL. They have also co-founded Fenchurch Associates and have held roles at Lane Clark & Peacock LLP, Barbican Insurance, and Lloyds of London. Simon earned an MBA from the London Business School in 2016 and has extensive experience in the insurance industry.
