Daniel Waeger

Daniel Waeger is a seasoned financial executive with extensive leadership experience in various organizations. Currently serving as the Vice President of the Board of Trustees at AXA Stiftung Zusatzvorsorge since January 2021, Daniel has also held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Metrohm since May 2017. Previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at Micronas Semiconductor Holding AG, Wärtsilä Switzerland Ltd, and Benninger AG, as well as Vice President of Finance at SCHOTT AG, where Daniel was also Director of Finance for the Pharmaceutical Packaging segment. Earlier in their career, Daniel served as Director of Finance and Administration at Ringier Czech Republic and Head of Finance and Administration at Von Roll Isola GmbH. Daniel holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School, a Master in Corporate Finance from the Business School at the University of Applied Sciences of Central Switzerland, and a lic. rer. pol. in Business Administration from the University of Berne.
