David Zimmermann

David Zimmermann, CFA, serves as an Alternative Investment Manager and Investment Analyst at AXA since April 2021. Prior to this role, David held positions as a Projektmanager at apexa GmbH and worked on a software project related to a master’s thesis at SmartJur. David completed a Master's degree in Financial Technology and Computing at USI Università della Svizzera italiana, where also served as a student-assistant under Professor Alberto Plazzi. Previous experience includes nearly a decade at VZ Asset Management AG as Associate Director Financial Analyst, where responsibilities included macroeconomic analysis, tactical asset allocation, and investment research. David’s early career included roles as an Associate Financial Consultant, providing financial and retirement planning services, and an educational background featuring a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from the University of Basel.
