Gilles Moec

Gilles Moec is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in high-level economic roles within major financial institutions. Since June 2019, Gilles Moec has served as the Group Chief Economist at AXA. Prior to this role, Gilles Moec was the Chief European Economist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from November 2014 to May 2019 and held the same position at Deutsche Bank from July 2009 to 2014, where Gilles Moec was also a Managing Director. Gilles Moec's career began at Bank of America as a Senior European Economist from October 2006 to June 2009, followed by a role as the Head of the International Economic Analysis Division at Banque de France from May 2004 to September 2006. Gilles Moec possesses a strong academic background, having studied at Sciences Po from 1988 to 1991.
