Matthew Briggs

Matthew Briggs is the UK Technical Director for Commercial Property Underwriting at AXA, where they oversee property revenue and account performance. With a broad experience in technical and senior commercial roles, Matthew previously served as Deputy President and President of the Chelmsford & South Essex Insurance Institute. They have also held various underwriting management positions at Allianz Insurance and Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, where they managed large client accounts and spearheaded strategic initiatives. Matthew holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Essex and is a Chartered Insurer, having earned the ACII designation from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
