Niels van Eldik

Niels van Eldik is an experienced professional in data science and software development, currently serving as Product Owner for MLOps and Smart Data Platform at AXA since April 2020, and has previously held roles as MLOps Architect, Lead Engineer, and Data Scientist. Prior to AXA, Niels worked at WetterOnline GmbH as a Data Scientist, at Pix4D in various capacities including Head of Engine and Product Manager for Enterprise Solutions, and co-founded HEALvetia Healthcare SA serving as CTO. Academic contributions include a Visiting Fellow position at the Technion and a Fellow role at CERN, where significant achievements included contributing to the discovery of the Higgs Boson. Niels holds a PhD in particle physics from the University of Amsterdam and a Master's degree in Physics from RWTH Aachen University.
