Wendy Smith

Wendy Smith is currently the Agriculture & Public-Private Partnerships Lead at AXA, where they manage the agriculture and climate portfolio, focusing on providing insurance solutions for emerging customers and businesses. Previously, Wendy worked as an Impact and ESG Manager and Business Development Associate at Global Parametrics, where they developed financial protection products for organizations exposed to natural hazards. Their earlier experiences include serving as an Economist at Maxwell Stamp, where they engaged in project management and economic analysis for emerging markets, and an intern at ECA International. Wendy holds a Master of Science in Risk, Disaster and Resilience from UCL and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Geography from the University of Glasgow.
