James Coogan

James Coogan has extensive work experience in the finance sector. James is currently working at Axcelis Technologies as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Axcelis Technologies, they worked at Kaman Corporation, where they held various positions including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Vice President - Investor Relations and Corporate Development, Vice President - Investor Relations, Assistant Vice President for SEC Compliance and External Reporting, Director for External Reporting and SEC Compliance, and Manager for External Reporting and SEC Compliance. Prior to Kaman Corporation, they worked as a Senior Accountant at AnnTaylor Stores Corporation and as a Manager for External Reporting at Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority. James started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate/Associate.

James Coogan pursued their education at various institutions, starting with the University of Connecticut from 1998 to 2002. Here, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Following this, from 2003 to 2005, they enrolled at the same university to earn their Master of Science degree, focusing on Accounting. Later on, James attended the Yale School of Management, where they undertook a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Sustainability from 2014 to 2016.
