Leonard Rubin

Leonard Rubin is the Chief Device Scientist at Axcelis Technologies, where they identify and prioritize critical customer needs for next-generation ion implanters and evaluate new implantation technologies. With a background in semiconductor manufacturing, Rubin has demonstrated expertise in process development, customer relationship management, and market evaluation throughout their career. Previously, they served as Principal Scientist at Eaton Corporation, significantly increasing market share for high energy ion implanters. Rubin holds a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree, and a Ph.D. in Electronic Materials from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
