Michael Ameen

Michael Ameen is currently the Chief Process Scientist at Axcelis Technologies, a position held since 2007, following earlier leadership roles in process technology at the same company from 1997 to 2007. They also served as a Senior Scientist at Materials Research Corporation from 1991 to 1997 and worked as a Senior Front End Process Engineer at Honeywell from 1986 to 1988. Michael earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Davidson College, followed by a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a postdoctoral program in Materials Science and Processing at North Carolina State University.
