Zhenwei Chu

Zhenwei Chu is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing control software and firmware across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Axcelis Technologies since January 2017, Zhenwei focuses on creating software applications for high current ion implanter semiconductor wafer processing machines. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer positions at Rapid Micro Biosystems and SEMIgear Inc., where automation and robotic systems were primarily developed. Zhenwei's background also includes significant contributions to firmware development at AgaMatrix and earlier work on embedded systems at Analog Devices. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacology from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. Additionally, Zhenwei has a strong foundation in scientific research from a position at the Shanghai Institute of Medical Meteria.
